CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT PROGRAM COORDINATOR
(Pending availability of funds and Superintendent's approval) The Superintendent invites qualified and interested candidates to apply for the position. Camden City School District is in a historic period of change. With the recent state intervention, Camden is uniquely poised to transform and re-focus its efforts to ensure all students have the academic and personal skills required to succeed in life. Currently, The Camden Commitment outlines the district's plan to ensure that every student in the city is enrolled in an excellent school that meets his or her unique needs. The Camden Commitment represents the district's promise to honor the faith of educators, community members, and families in the limitless potential of our children by implementing the considerable changes necessary to ensure that they are able to learn in an excellent school. As a part of this plan, the district is in the process of streamlining and transforming the Central Office into a customer service and school support organization focused on ensuring that all schools are well-equipped to provide all of their students with an excellent education. A Program Coordinator in the Camden City School District will serve as a leader who supports program registration, LACES data management, and CASAS test proctor assistance. The coordinator also manages student data, attendance, and student follow-up.

An ability to successfully differentiate instruction in order to meet the needs of all students, including those who are classified as Special Education or English Language Learners. The following physical demands are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Environmental Demands:
The following environmental conditions are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this position. Possible exposure to a range of childhood and adult illnesses. Occasional exposure to varying weather conditions. Work performed in heated, air-conditioned, ventilated facilities. Moderate to high at times, noise level especially during school hours, assemblies or events. Frequent interruptions from calls, walk-ins and urgent requests. Possible exposure to cleaning agents, instructional materials, and equipment-related chemicals.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
Under New Jersey's "New Jersey First Act" (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7), all employees of New Jersey public school districts must maintain bona fide New Jersey residency as a condition of employment. Candidates must already reside in New Jersey or establish residency within the required timeframe after hire. Current employees who were hired on or before September 1, 2011, are exempt from this requirement and may continue to reside outside the state. In limited circumstances, applicants may request a residency waiver through the state's Employee Residency Review Committee if they can demonstrate critical need or hardship; approval is not guaranteed.
