SFCC provides a high-quality, geographically, financially and emotionally accessible education to more than 5,000 students who range from traditional college-age students to adult learners. The college offers associate of arts, associate of fine arts, associate of science and associate of applied science degrees, professional and skills certificates, and noncredit courses and programs, and workforce development training in a 14-county area in central Missouri with locations in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, Warsaw, at Whiteman Air Force Base, and online.

Position Summary:

The work study student in the Office of Academic Affairs will provide general support for data-related projects, helping to present information in a clear and visually effective manner. This position offers the opportunity to develop analytical and communication skills while contributing to the office's ongoing initiatives.

Essential Duties:

Create charts, graphs, and basic visualizations in Excel using provided data Assist with data formatting, cleanup, and organization Collaborate with staff to ensure charts effectively communicate key insights Review and revise charts based on feedback Maintain organized files and documentation of work Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in handling data Other duties as deemed necessary for the function of the college. The preceding duties are examples of the essential types of work performed by positions within this job classification but are not all inclusive. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Comfortable using Excel, including basic chart and graph tools Detail-oriented with good organizational skills Able to follow instructions and take feedback to improve work Interest in learning more about data and how it's used in decision-making Must be eligible for Federal Work Study This position is a part of the Federal work-study program, to qualify you must be a State Fair Community College student enrolled in the current semester and eligible for Financial Aid thorough the Federal Work-study program. Employment will require a criminal background check at College expense. Preference is given to Missouri residents.
