Job Description

Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a Exploring Careers in Music (ECIM) Club Sponsor for the 2026-2027 school year. About the
Club:
ECIM creates an inclusive community where students discover the wide range of careers within the music industry, including performance, production, business, technology, artist management, and journalism. Unlike Stevenson's other music clubs, which are performance-based, ECIM is intentionally open to students at any experience level, including those with no background in music classes. Members build career insight through guest speaker sessions, career-focused discussions, and research into real-world music professions.

Role Summary:
The faculty sponsor provides oversight, continuity, and support to student leadership while preserving the club as a genuinely student-driven space. This is not an instructional role. The sponsor's job is to ensure the club runs safely, stays organized, and maintains a trusted adult connection to the school, including coordinating guest speakers and outside industry contacts.
Salary and Benefits:
Hourly pay External Candidate will be paid $17 per hour Current Faculty, please refer to the current Agreement Current Support Staff will be paid at your current hourly rate. No additional benefits are associated with this position.
