Do you love making art—and helping kids discover what they're capable of creating? Children's Art Classes of Aurora is seeking a skilled fine-arts instructor to teach our structured, skill-based art curriculum to children and teens. This is not a craft-based enrichment position: instructors need a strong foundation in drawing and fine-art techniques and must be comfortable demonstrating and teaching technical art concepts. We are currently prioritizing candidates with weekday early-afternoon availability. Our complete curriculum and lessons are provided, so instructors do not need to develop lessons from scratch—but they do need the artistic knowledge and teaching ability to deliver those lessons accurately and confidently. This is an especially great opportunity for an experienced educator, retired teacher, teaching artist, working artist, or creative professional looking for a small, consistent weekly teaching schedule. About the Position You'll teach small-group art classes of up to 12 students using our established, skill-based curriculum. You won't have to create lesson plans from scratch.
