Job Description

Inspire creativity and help students express themselves through art! Join Cross Country Education as an Art Teacher and provide engaging instruction that encourages creativity, confidence, and artistic growth this school year in Glenwood, IL.
Position Overview:
Deliver engaging, standards-aligned art instruction for students in grades 5-6 that fosters creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking. Develop meaningful lessons and hands-on projects that introduce students to artistic techniques, creative processes, and visual expression. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore and share their ideas. Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with school staff to support student growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Art Education, or a related field Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Art endorsement Elementary and/or middle school art teaching experience preferred Why Join Cross Country Education?
Competitive Pay:
Earn $36.10 - $36.90 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as an Art Teacher, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
