Our art center is a well-known educational institution in the Metro Detroit area, dedicated to the excellence of art education. Headquartered in the Troy area, Longlong School of Arts has been expanding its program very rapidly in recent years. Our institution has multiple full-time and part-time positions available for art teachers. We are looking for enthusiastic artists who love children's art education to join our team. Artists with previous teaching experience will be preferred. Passion for children's education and artistic talents/skills are the most important criteria for our selection of candidates. Duties Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and respect among students Manage classroom behavior effectively using proven behavior management strategies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement. Teaching children and/or adult students art at different class levels. Demonstrating art knowledge and techniques across multiple disciplines, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history, etc. Participating in curriculum and other developmental programs, such as field trips, graduation parties, etc. Keeping student records for every class. Requirements At least two years work experience as an art teacher. Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at minimum. Master's degree in Fine Arts preferred.
