Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support students' academic and social development. Your enthusiasm for childhood education, combined with your expertise in curriculum development and classroom management, will help shape the minds of our future leaders. Requirements:
Teaching experience with K-5 students Familiarity with basic drawing and painting techniques, as well as common art materials Ability to guide students in creating age-appropriate art portfolios Responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with children Available for a consistent weekly teaching schedule Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, and science. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools to enhance student engagement and facilitate remote or hybrid learning environments. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior, active participation, and mutual respect among students. Manage classroom activities effectively, employing behavior management strategies to maintain discipline and foster a safe learning space. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing, to tailor instruction to individual needs. Incorporate diverse teaching methodologies, including Montessori or other child-centered approaches, to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with colleagues, special education staff, and parents to support students with disabilities or special needs, ensuring inclusive education practices. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, math instruction, and the integration of new learning technologies. Support students' social-emotional growth through tutoring, mentoring, and facilitating library services or extracurricular activities that promote reading and writing skills. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and behavioral incidents in compliance with school policies.
Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
