Job Overview Children's Art Classes-West Hempstead are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to inspire creativity and artistic expression in our students. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in art education, along with the ability to engage students in various artistic mediums. This role involves executiing a comprehensive art curriculum, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting the overall development of each student. Duties Implement engaging art lesson plans that align with the CAC franchise educational standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach various art techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, charcoal, collage, printmaking, etc. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression among students. Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere. Mentor students in their artistic pursuits, providing guidance and support for individual projects. Maintain a safe and organized classroom space that promotes exploration and experimentation in art. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field; teaching certification preferred. Minimum 5 years experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably as an Art Teacher or similar role. Strong communication skills to effectively convey artistic concepts and engage students. Proficiency in various forms of art and familiarity with learning technology to enhance lesson delivery. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development theories.
