Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle and High School Teacher to join our team. As a Middle and High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure student success.
Duties:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning
Utilize various teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles
Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance
Manage classroom behavior and maintain a respectful and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Valid teaching certification or license
Experience working with high school/middle school children
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
Proficient in lesson planning, proofreading, and literacy education.
