This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster linguistic skills, cultural understanding, and academic excellence among adolescents. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong commitment to student success, creating an engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning and social-emotional growth. This position is paid and designed to complement our vibrant educational community, emphasizing innovative teaching methods and collaborative curriculum development. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive Spanish language curricula aligned with middle and high school standards, including AP (Advanced Placement) programs. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate educational technology, multimedia resources, and IT-integrated lessons to enhance language acquisition. Facilitate classroom activities that accommodate diverse learning styles and promote active participation among teenagers. Conduct assessments, standardized testing preparations, and provide constructive feedback to monitor student progress effectively. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, instructional strategies, and school-wide initiatives related to language arts and social sciences. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavior management strategies, and academic advising. Maintain classroom management standards that foster a respectful, inclusive environment conducive to learning for all students. Skills Expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational technology integration. Strong knowledge of AP style, Chicago Manual of Style, proofreading, copy editing, and journalism principles. Experience in teaching social sciences, literacy education, and English language arts at the middle or high school level. Proficiency in linguistics, learning technology tools, standardized testing procedures, and research methodologies. Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and implementing IT- integrated lessons. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents. Adaptability to different learning styles with a focus on inclusive education practices such as special education or Montessori approaches when applicable. Proven organizational skills for lesson planning, instructional delivery, assessment tracking, and educational compliance adherence. Pay:
