Week of August 5, 2026 About the Position Masterpiece Art Academy is seeking a caring, organized, and engaging educator to teach our Study Skills & Executive Function classes for students in grades 4-12 at the High Road to Learning campus in Meadow Vista. If you enjoy helping students become more confident, organized, and successful learners, we'd love to meet you. The ideal candidate believes every student can grow with the right tools, encouragement, and support, and enjoys celebrating progress just as much as achievement. This position focuses on teaching executive functioning and academic success skills, including organization, time management, goal setting, note-taking, study strategies, assignment planning, test preparation, and independent learning. Complete curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials are provided. No lesson planning is required, allowing you to focus on what matters most—building relationships with students, creating an engaging classroom environment, and helping young people develop skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. Responsibilities Teach the provided Study Skills & Executive Function curriculum to students in grades 4-12. Foster a structured, positive, and encouraging classroom environment. Help students strengthen organization, planning, time management, and independent learning skills. Adapt instruction to support a variety of learning styles and abilities. Communicate professionally with families and program leadership. Encourage confidence, responsibility, resilience, and academic growth. Qualifications Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or working with children and teens. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Organized, dependable, patient, and encouraging. Ability to build positive relationships with both elementary and secondary students. Experience supporting executive functioning, ADHD, or neurodiverse learners is a plus. Teaching credential is welcome but not required. Employment Requirements Final candidates must be able to complete or provide the following prior to employment: Live Scan fingerprint clearance TB clearance California Mandated Reporter Training Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Authorization to work in the United States Masterpiece Art Academy reimburses employees for the cost of all required pre-employment trainings, certifications, and clearances.
