Makeup Instructor — Spanish-Speaking Allure Institute of Makeup Artistry | South Gate, CA Allure Institute of Makeup Artistry is seeking an experienced, energetic, and fluent Spanish-speaking Makeup Instructor to teach evening classes at our South Gate campus. This is a highly part-time, enrollment-based position. The primary schedule for the upcoming class will be Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM , although we also offer classes on select Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM . The ideal candidate understands the flexible nature of the role and is passionate about educating and inspiring the next generation of makeup artists. Candidates located between our South Gate and Santa Ana campuses may have opportunities to teach additional classes at both locations . Responsibilities Teach makeup artistry classes fully in Spanish. Present lessons clearly using established curriculum materials and slide presentations. Demonstrate professional makeup techniques for students. Provide constructive and encouraging feedback during hands-on practice. Maintain an engaging, positive, and professional classroom environment. Adapt lessons and demonstrations based on students' experience levels and questions. Work creatively and resourcefully with a variety of makeup brands, products, and professional kits. Communicate with school administration regarding student progress, classroom needs, and scheduling. Required Qualifications Fluent in Spanish and comfortable teaching an entire class in Spanish. At least three years of professional makeup industry experience. Experience teaching, training, presenting, or educating others. Strong, current knowledge of glam and traditional makeup application. Working knowledge of special effects and airbrush makeup, with the ability to explain and demonstrate foundational techniques. Strong public-speaking and classroom communication skills. Friendly, outgoing, patient, and approachable personality. Ability to think critically and respond to student questions or classroom situations in the moment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Reliable transportation to the South Gate campus. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Google Slides, and similar digital tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching in a beauty school, makeup academy, workshop, or professional training environment. Familiarity with Canva or other presentation and design platforms. Ability and willingness to teach at our Santa Ana campus when opportunities become available. Experience working with multiple makeup brands and product lines. Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English. Schedule and Position Type Part-time, as-needed instructor position.

Our programs are designed to help aspiring artists develop practical skills, professional confidence, creativity, and the foundation needed to build successful careers in the beauty industry. We are looking for an instructor who will represent our school positively, connect with students, and contribute to the supportive and professional learning environment we have built over the years. Candidates should submit a résumé and a brief introduction describing their professional makeup and teaching experience. Portfolios, professional social media pages, and examples of previous work are strongly encouraged.
Pay:
