$45 to $52 hourly, depending on experience

Hiring Timeline:
Two Weeks Hours 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, plus 3 hours per week for planning. Staff meeting Wednesdays until 4:15 PM. August 1 through May 31, with school breaks off.
Expected hours:
Approximately 19 per week. General Responsibilities Conduct Engaging Conversational Spanish Classes:
Plan and deliver dynamic conversational Spanish lessons tailored to students' diverse learning needs and abilities.
Develop Curriculum Materials:
Create and adapt curriculum materials, resources, and activities that integrate Christian teachings and facilitate Spanish language acquisition through real-life scenarios such as restaurants and markets.
Integrate Faith-Based Content:
Infuse Spanish lessons with Christian faith-based content, stories, and themes to reinforce moral values and foster spiritual growth.
Assess Student Progress:
Evaluate and track student progress using formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents. Share progress updates at biannual parent-teacher conferences and maintain accurate student records for transcripts.
Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers, staff, vendors, and parent volunteers to enhance school experiences and strengthen our community.
Continuous Improvement:
Reflect on lesson effectiveness and gather feedback to identify areas for enhancement. Continuously seek opportunities to enrich student experiences in alignment with our mission of holistic child development and academic excellence. Qualifications Proficiency in Spanish is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a sincere dedication to serving others in a Christ-centered environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
