Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging language instruction to students across various age groups, including middle and high school levels. This role involves creating a positive learning environment, managing classroom activities, and fostering students' language skills in a supportive setting. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to students' academic growth while promoting cultural understanding through language education. Responsibilities Deliver effective Spanish language instruction tailored to middle and high school students. Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Manage classroom activities to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and participation, providing constructive feedback. Incorporate engaging teaching methods and multimedia resources to enhance language acquisition. Foster cultural awareness and appreciation of Spanish-speaking countries within the classroom. Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional strategies and curriculum development. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance. Requirements Proven experience teaching at the middle school and high school levels. Strong proficiency in the Spanish language, both written and spoken. Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate students. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that meet educational standards. Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff. A relevant teaching certification or degree in education or Spanish language instruction is preferred. Passion for teaching languages and fostering cultural understanding in a diverse student population. This position is a paid role committed to providing quality education and supporting student success in learning Spanish.
