What We're Looking For:
Valid LA Spanish/Foreign Language Educator Certificate (high school coverage required) Previous experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level preferred Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage diverse learners Commitment to making language learning fun and meaningful Openness to collaborate with colleagues and use creative instructional strategies
In This Role, You Will:
Deliver comprehensive Spanish instruction to high school students in accordance with curriculum standards Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that support language acquisition and cultural understanding Utilize varied teaching methods to meet the needs of a diverse student population Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed Participate in school events and contribute to a positive, collaborative department culture Maintain accurate records and adhere to school policies and deadlines
