English as a Second Language (ESL) Spanish General Education Teacher | Spring Lake, New Jersey

Job Description

Step into an engaging and rewarding teaching opportunity in a vibrant school community near Spring Lake, NJ. This contract position offers the chance to inspire students across a diverse range of grade levels, from Pre-K through 8th grade, with a particular focus on Spanish language instruction. School days run from 8:30 to 3:00, giving you a balanced and predictable full-time schedule. You'll oversee a full-time caseload for PK-8th grade and support 3rd-8th graders part-time, enhancing their fluency and cultural awareness in a school-based environment. Your contributions will play an integral role in fostering language skills and supporting students' educational journeys throughout the academic year from September 8, 2026, through June 22, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active New Jersey Teaching License Spanish Teaching Certification Experience teaching General Education, ESOL, or in Spanish language classrooms preferred Ability to adapt instruction to various proficiency levels and age groups Strong communication and collaboration skills, supporting both students and fellow educators Passion for encouraging cultural appreciation alongside language learning
Responsibilities:
Deliver Spanish language instruction to students PK-8, adapting curriculum to meet diverse needs Develop and monitor individualized education plans where necessary Collaborate with staff to support all learners, including those in ESOL and general education tracks Foster an enthusiastic, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and growth Communicate student progress to caregivers and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed Envision the difference you can make by empowering young learners with essential language and communication skills.
