Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Foreign Language Teacher to inspire students in developing their language skills and cultural understanding. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage learners across various age groups, through high school, fostering a love for languages and global communication. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong foundation in language instruction, ensuring an engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning and cultural appreciation. You will be responsible for designing curriculum, implementing innovative teaching methods, and supporting students' academic growth in a collaborative setting. The candidate for this position must have a Bachelor's Degree. Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive language lessons aligned with curriculum standards Incorporate educational technology Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive environment conducive to active participation from students of varying backgrounds Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum development, and instructional strategies to ensure consistency and high-quality education delivery. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavioral issues, and academic achievements to foster a supportive learning community. Utilize research-based instructional design techniques and assessment tools to monitor student progress, prepare students for standardized testing, and support individualized learning plans. Skills Strong expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and implementing educational technology in the classroom Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and special education needs Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, parents, and administrative staff Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques to create a disciplined yet nurturing environment
