Full-Time Position Overview :
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Spanish Teacher to inspire a love of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures in students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This position provides the unique opportunity to introduce foundational Spanish language skills to our elementary students while developing more advanced communication, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding with our middle school students. The Spanish teacher will teach Kindergarten through 5th grade once each week and 6th through 8th grade each three times per week , creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that encourage students to confidently listen, speak, read, and write in Spanish. Teachers at our school enjoy small class sizes, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students in a collaborative learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons. Introduce students to the rich cultures, traditions, geography, and history of Spanish-speaking countries. Foster a positive, structured, and respectful classroom environment. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student achievement and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and school initiatives. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events. Model professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Support the mission and values of the school
Qualifications:
