Job Description:

SUNY Cobleskill is seeking qualified, capable, and enthusiastic adjunct instructors to teach plant science courses. Courses may include, but are not limited to:

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Plant Science, Horticulture or Soil Science Experience with soil science or cannabis production Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk measurable distances Preferred Qualifications Previous, successful college teaching experience Laboratory teaching experience Master's degree or higher in Plant Science, Soil Science, Cannabis/Hemp Production or similar

Additional Information:

We currently have openings for the January 2025 (spring) semester and onward. These courses will meet in-person and will utilize our on campus farm, which is just steps away from our classroom spaces Courses run on a 15-week academic calendar This position is part-time and temporary The College continuously recruits for applicants interested in Adjunct Faculty positions.
