Division of Science Southern Wesleyan University's (SWU) School of Science, Technology, and Mathematics invites applications for part-time, adjunct faculty positions in Biology. We are currently seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses in microbiology, nutrition, pathophysiology, and medical terminology. Candidates with other areas of specialization may be considered for future teaching opportunities. Teaching opportunities are available January 2023 . The School of Science, Technology, and Mathematics is a place where the scope of learning involves evidence-based and applied learning opportunities integrated in the classroom and extra-curricular activities, all of which focus on the Christian faith within our disciplines. Primary Responsibilities Teaching responsibilities will be teaching a variety of biology courses in SWU's on campus and online undergraduate general education curriculum and biology programs. Qualifications/Requirements Academic. A master's degree or earned doctorate in an area of biological science or a related area with at least 18 graduate credits in a biological science. Preference will be given to applicants with previous college teaching experience. Desire and/or experience in integrating the Christian faith with the teaching and practice of the discipline of biology are essential. Mission and Lifestyle Expectations.
