In this energetic role, you will lead engaging soccer training sessions, foster skill development, and promote a positive, inclusive environment. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire athletes to reach their full potential while emphasizing safety, sportsmanship, and fun. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives through sport. Duties Plan and deliver engaging soccer training sessions tailored to various skill levels and age groups Teach fundamental soccer techniques, tactics, and game strategies in an energetic and motivating manner Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior among players through effective communication and behavior management Monitor safety during practices and games, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols including AED operation and first aid procedures Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about player progress, upcoming events, and team updates Lead warm-ups, drills, scrimmages, and game-day preparations to ensure a fun and safe environment for all participants Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize tournaments, leagues, or special events that promote community engagement Experience Prior soccer coaching experience or sports coaching experience with children is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to work with children in a coaching or teaching capacity Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies; additional sports-specific training instruction is a plus Experience working with youth in physical education settings or sports teams such as basketball or cheerleading is beneficial Strong communication skills for effective client (player and parent) interaction and team leadership Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or child safety are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain required certifications is expected Background in lifeguard experience, swimming, martial arts, climbing or health club/gym experience is considered a plus for versatility in coaching roles Join us to inspire young athletes through energetic coaching that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, safety, and fun!
