Job Description

Independent Contractors Needed - Trainers & Coaches CA Independent Living (CAIL), Vendor License #HQ1884, partners with the San Diego Regional Center to provide Independent Living Skills (ILS) services. We are currently seeking Independent Contractor Coaches (1099) to provide one-on-one, in-home support for adults on the autism spectrum, helping them develop communication, social, and daily living skills. Caregiver Role:
This is a coaching and training-focused role. No hands-on personal care (no toileting, feeding, or housekeeping).
Field-Based Position:
Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel within a 15-20 mile radius of your residence to provide one-on-one, in-home coaching.
Flexible Schedule:
Set your own hours, including days and session lengths, to meet client needs. Part-Time to
Start:
Begin with one client; clients typically need 15-40 hours/month each. Opportunity to add clients and grow up to ~40 hours/week.

Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one, in-home coaching to improve clients' communication, social, and community participation skills. Teach and support development of daily living skills, including home safety, using calendars and to-do lists, money management, meal preparation, and other practical life skills. Maintain clear and professional written communication in English.
Requirements:
Must reside in or near Valley Center. High school diploma required (college graduates preferred). Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
