This is a wonderful opportunity for Coaches, Teachers or Instructors. We are looking for happy people, with ideally one year of child care or daycare experience and preferably one year of experience in a skilled aquatic activity or as a lifeguard, however this is not required. This is a fun job for those who enjoy children and teaching. Aqua-Tots Swim School SWAG Swim Teacher Responsibilities and Duties Teaching children 4 months to 12 years swim lessons every 30 minutes Engaging with Children and Families in the joy of learning & swimming Smiling and having fun Answering questions and providing feedback to children and parents Abiding by our Aqua-Tots Core Values (see below) Swim Teacher Qualifications and Skills One year of demonstrated experience working with children preferred, but not required (e.g., Parent, coach, teacher, child care, daycare) Basic ability to perform three major strokes: free style with side breathing, backstroke and breaststroke. In-water portion of interview includes brief swim evaluation, and observation of classes At least 15 years old and have reliable transportation Must be available to work weekdays 3 pm - 8 pm and Saturdays 8 am - 2 pm As a leader in swim instruction for over 30 years, Aqua-Tots is the largest swim school in the nation and is a multi-year winner of one of the "Best Places to Work" by the Arizona Business Journal.
