QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D. Experience as a high school or middle school basketball coach, preferred. Significant experience of participation in basketball required. Experience as a collegiate or professional athlete in basketball preferred. Background or course preparation in physical education, coaching, first-aid, CPR and sports medicine, preferred Willingness to invest time and energy in the development of coaching skills through both personal study and provided professional development. Exhibit qualities of leadership and organizational ability and reflect a spirit of cooperation in working with staff, community booster group and school administrators.
