Job Description

Apogee Topsail Academy is a private microschool launching in Holly Ridge, NC this fall. We are small by design, built around kids who learn differently, move more, and need adults who are passionate about our mission and our values. We are hiring a part-time campus coach to work alongside our Program Director starting in August. Launching a school is going to be a lot of work, but SO fun and fulfilling. I am really looking for someone who is invested to being on our team.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Six Friday half-days per year. One week off every six weeks. Summer break is mid-June through just after the Fourth of July.

The job:

Help lead daily learning, support students hands-on, keep the day moving, and be a steady, trusted presence for kids who need it.

You:

You care about kids and it shows. You are patient, consistent, and calm under pressure. You need to be someone that kids can count on. No teaching degree required. What is required is that you lead yourself first, you execute without being reminded, and you carry your own weight so the team can carry each other. Backgrounds in coaching, athletics, military, youth work, or trades are just as welcome as education.
