Job Summary Join our dynamic youth sports community as a Club Volleyball Coach! In this energetic role, you will inspire and develop young athletes by leading engaging volleyball practices, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship. You will create a positive environment that encourages skill development, confidence, and a love for the game. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on aspiring volleyball players while honing your coaching expertise. Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging volleyball practices tailored to various skill levels, emphasizing fundamental techniques and game strategies Lead team drills and scrimmages to improve individual skills and team cohesion Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among players Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff regarding team updates, schedules, and player progress Monitor player safety during practices and games, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper use of equipment Support player development through constructive feedback and personalized coaching strategies Maintain organized records of team activities, attendance, and progress reports Skills Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in volleyball or related team sports Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate and guide young athletes Experience working with children and understanding child development principles Knowledge of sports-specific training techniques and teaching methods for physical education Familiarity with soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading, climbing or martial arts enhances versatility Ability to manage behavior effectively and create a disciplined yet fun environment Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), and child safety are highly desirable Background in lifeguard experience or swimming can be beneficial for water-related activities or safety awareness Experience working in health clubs or gym environments supports understanding of fitness fundamentals Join us to lead passionate young athletes on their journey to excellence! Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
