Certified Sports Performance Head Coach

Job Description

Overview Premier Performance Training is seeking a dedicated and driven Head Coach to serve as the second-in-command at our Brentwood location. The Head Coach supports the General Manager and Owner, Aaron Hines, in driving athlete and adult client results, client retention, internal marketing, performance tracking, and gym operations. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who is passionate about athletic development, building mental confidence alongside physical strength, and preparing for a future General Manager position. Head Coaches will be considered first when a GM position becomes available.
Responsibilities Coaching & Standards:
Coach all assigned adult and youth sessions while consistently meeting Premier Performance Training's elite coaching standards.
Sales & Growth:
Run sales consultations one day each month to develop closing and communication skills. Perform lead follow-up one day each month to support client acquisition.
Operations & Prep:
Arrive 20 minutes before each session to set up equipment and prepare the training environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training facility at all times.
Social Media:
Post three Instagram stories each day to support the facility's social media presence. Post weekly social media content using the approved posting framework.
Community & Culture:
Participate in community events and support internal promotional campaigns. Attend weekly team meetings every Friday and contribute to team alignment. Attend at least one youth athlete competition per month to support client relationships.
Client Retention:
Perform weekly at-risk client outreach. Perform monthly accountability outreach to all assigned athletes and adult clients. Support internal marketing efforts, reactivations, and referral generation.
Data & Tracking:
Execute the 3-Step Peak Athlete Protocol . Enter athlete performance and testing data (speed, agility, power) to support Precision Assessments and 3-month progress reports. Track metrics for development, retention, and data entry. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) One full day per month dedicated to sales consultations. One full day per month dedicated to lead follow-up. Sessions set up 20 minutes before class, 100% of the time. Three Instagram stories posted every day. 100% of daily cleaning tasks completed. 100% attendance at Premier Performance events and support of internal promotions. 100% attendance at Friday team meetings unless on approved vacation. 100% of weekly at-risk clients contacted by Friday. 100% of monthly accountability outreach completed by the end of the month. All 3-month athlete progress reports submitted by the end of the month. Attendance at one athlete event/competition per month. 100% of metric data updated to support 3-month reporting and the Peak Athlete Protocol. Requirements Minimum 1 year of coaching experience in a fitness, sports performance, or service-based business. Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills. Proven ability to deliver client results and maintain strong relationships with both youth athletes and adult fitness clients. Ability to follow systems, meet deadlines, and uphold brand standards. Willingness to develop sales, leadership, and operational skills in preparation for a future GM role. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends as needed. Schedule Part-time position, 30 hours per week, with a rotating Saturday schedule.

Once or Twice a Month Success in This Role Looks Like The Head Coach ensures the gym runs smoothly with strong coaching consistency and elite service. Our youth athletes and adult clients are progressing, confident, and engaged. Data and systems are up to date, client retention is high, and the Brentwood community sees the Head Coach as a leader within the facility. The Head Coach consistently supports the General Manager, upholds Premier Performance brand standards, and becomes fully prepared to step into a future General Manager position.
