Job Description

D-BAT Lewisville is looking for a passionate Hitting and/or Pitching Instructor to help shape the next generation of ballplayers. If you love the game, understand modern player development, and want to make a real impact on athletes at every level, we want to hear from you. D-BAT Lewisville is one of the premier baseball and softball training facilities in the DFW area, and we're seeking a coach who is skilled in teaching hitting and/or throwing mechanics to join our Player Development Department. This role focuses on providing high-level instruction, mentorship, and development planning for athletes of all ages. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Instructor/Coach will be expected to: Implement an organizational hitting and/or throwing development program. Plan and execute daily training sessions for scheduled athletes. Analyze athlete performance using tools, reports, and technology, including Blast, Rapsodo, Trackman, and HitTrax. Create, prescribe, and monitor individualized development plans based on each athlete's areas of opportunity. Collaborate with Strength & Performance staff to address physical limitations and enhance overall development. Communicate clearly with athletes and parents regarding plans, goals, and progress. Requirements & Qualifications Collegiate or professional playing experience preferred, but not required for candidates who demonstrate strong teaching ability and player-development knowledge. Strong understanding of modern player-development concepts and willingness to adapt to new information, tools, and technology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with athletes, parents, and staff. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Additional Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform movements such as bending, reaching, and throwing.
