N Zone Sports Lonestar | Christian-Based Youth Sports League Job Overview N Zone Sports Lonestar is looking for energetic, dependable, and positive Soccer Coaches and Referees to join our Saturday youth soccer leagues! We are a Christian-based recreational youth sports organization serving families in our community. Our mission is to provide children with a fun, encouraging, and positive environment where they can learn the game of soccer while developing faith, character, teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and confidence . We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact through youth sports. This is a paid, part-time Saturday position during our soccer seasons from 8a - 4pm. You do not need to be a professional coach or referee. We are looking for people who understand soccer, enjoy working with kids, and can bring energy, patience, leadership, and a positive attitude to the field every Saturday. Responsibilities for Soccer Coaches Lead fun, organized, and age-appropriate soccer practices Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and teamwork Keep practices active, positive, and engaging for young athletes Encourage players of all skill and experience levels Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, effort, and Christian character Create an environment where children can learn, compete, and have fun Communicate positively with players, parents, referees, and N Zone staff Serve as a positive role model for our young athletes Help ensure a safe and encouraging environment for every participant Soccer Referees Officiate Saturday youth soccer games in a fair, consistent, and positive manner Understand and enforce N Zone Sports youth soccer rules Help younger players learn the game while officiating Maintain control of games while creating a fun and encouraging atmosphere Promote good sportsmanship among players, coaches, and spectators Communicate professionally with coaches, parents, players, and N Zone staff Help ensure player safety throughout each game Assist with field setup and equipment when needed Represent N Zone Sports Lonestar professionally at all times What We're Looking For Basic to strong knowledge of soccer Experience playing, coaching, or refereeing soccer is preferred Experience working with children is a plus Positive, energetic, patient, and dependable Comfortable leading and communicating with children Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage games and groups of children in a positive manner Must be dependable and available to work Saturdays during our soccer seasons Willingness to support and represent the Christian values and mission of N Zone Sports Lonestar CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required Great Opportunity For College students Current or former soccer players Soccer coaches Referees Teachers PE students Youth leaders Ministry leaders Former high school or college athletes Anyone who loves soccer and working with kids Why Join N Zone Sports Lonestar?
