Girls JV Volleyball Head Coach Classification:

Part Time, coaching season stipend Reports to:

Athletic Director Pay Range:

Responsibilities:

• Develop a JV Volleyball program
• Coordinate with the Varsity Head Coach to ensure program continuity
• Plan all practice sessions and training programs with an emphasis on athletic growth and skill development, as well as safety
• Instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary to realize individual and team success
• Attend all practices and matches
• Promote a positive attitude, academic achievement, and personal growth
• Comply with all Foxcroft School policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience coaching volleyball and teaching volleyball skills and strategies that apply to the skill level of the student-athletes
• Evidenced ability to maintain and consistently exemplify the highest standards of professionalism, leadership, sportsmanship, and respect
• Demonstrated abilities in communication, motivation, community relations, and organization
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with students, staff, administration, and parents
• Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of players
• Experience with teenage girls and an understanding of boarding schools is a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license, complete a background check, fingerprinting, first aid and CPR certification, and Concussion training
• The coach will report to the Athletic Director
• Evening and weekend hours may be necessary
