https://littlelionsfitness.com/ Part-Time Coach - Williamsburg and surrounding areas Job Description Overview The Little Lions Club part-time coach is primarily responsible for hosting and facilitating soccer classes at their designated schools in accordance with the Club's written curriculum. The coach is responsible for knowing the curriculum, class format, and fundamentals of soccer as applicable to 2-5-year-old players. Soft skills, such as maintaining positive lines of communication with partner school points of contact (POC's), addressing potential problems with the players on the field in a constructive and mission-aligned way, and effectively reporting to company leadership, are essential to success. We are looking for someone who brings a ton of enthusiasm to the role of coach, who we can trust to wear our uniform and carry out the Little Lions vision of bettering the lives of our players, families, and teachers. Required Skills and Knowledge Ideal Candidate lives in or around Yorktown Excellent communication skills, to forge relationships with schools and the team Patience and discipline - you must be patient with your players and families, and you must be able to show up on time with a great attitude every time! A positive and bright attitude. This is non-negotiable! Ability to write comprehensive and clear reports for leadership review Basic knowledge and understanding of childhood development, and the needs/proclivities of each age group in class Ability to work outside under variable weather conditions for several hours at a time, while maintaining a high level of energy throughout the day.
MOST WORK
happens outside, and you must be able to withstand all playable conditions every day. Must be available year round. Required Experience / Education / Credentials Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hiring Flexible availability, primarily Monday-Friday from 9-2pm Passing a criminal background check Negative TB screening Clean drug test Compensation • $20.00 an hour starting pay
