Position Description:

The Boys Soccer Head Coach supports the district mission by: Coaching and developing players on the varsity team Overseeing the JV team and helping the coach develop skills and preparing the athletes for varsity Communicating with players and families consistently on schedules, changes in practices, concerns, etc. Working to build a relationship with the community club soccer teams Building a positive environment that allows students an opportunity to have fun while learning both soccer skills as well as life skills Managing the boys' soccer budget and communicating with the ASB advisor regularly Fundraising for additional equipment or needs not supplied by the athletic department Communication with the athletic secretary daily during the season through email or by phone Other duties as assigned

Terms of Employment:

March 1, 2027

• April 30, 2027 Must be available for available for practices and games each weekday and some Saturdays during the season Current CPR/First-Aid card on file prior to the first day of coaching athletes Successful candidate must submit a Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure and undergo state and background checks including fingerprinting a the applicant's expense

Salary Range:

$4,233

• $5,598, depending on experience

Benefits:

Eligible employees may accrue sick leave at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked under Washington state law. Upon working 630 hours in a school year, eligible employees may be eligible for insurance benefits through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) which includes, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance.

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent 21 years of age or older Experience playing soccer at the High School level or beyond Experience coaching soccer at the High School level

Preferred Qualifications:
