Job Summary The Department of Communication seeks two (2) Lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism and/or Professional Media Writing. The positions emphasize effective teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship of students preparing for careers in public relations, multimedia journalism, video and audio production, and other related communication fields. Additionally, the faculty may teach in the CORE. These non-tenure track faculty positions, based in the Department of Communication, are 10-month academic year positions. These are full-time positions beginning August 2027, with the possibility of promotion to Senior Lecturer. ( www.sacscoc.org (faculty credentials)) Other Required Qualifications Candidates should have significant experience in journalism, with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality news content across various media platforms (print, digital, broadcast, or audio). This includes a solid foundation in news writing, editing, and multimedia storytelling, along with practical knowledge of journalistic ethics and practices.
