Role:
The School of Computing and Analytics at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for part-time instructor positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in one or more of the following areas:
Computer Science & Software Engineering
Cybersecurity & Information Technology
Information Systems & Analytics Primary Responsibilities Teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the School of Computing and Analytics, depending on departmental needs and the candidate's qualifications.
Deliver high-quality instruction in face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid formats as assigned. Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments. Develop and maintain course materials consistent with departmental learning outcomes. Submit grades and other required documentation in accordance with university policies. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Health Informatics, or a closely related field. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in a computing-related discipline. Previous college or university teaching experience. Relevant industry experience and/or professional certifications. Experience teaching in online and/or hybrid learning environments. Required Documents Cover letter describing teaching interests, qualifications, and areas of expertise. Curriculum vitae or résumé.
