Available Help for . The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in the College of Engineering, at Texas A&M University invites applications by exceptional candidates for one full-time, tenured Professor. This nine-month academic appointment includes the possibility of an additional summer appointment, contingent upon need and availability of funds, beginning January 1, 2027. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct original, scholary research; build self-sustaining research programs; teach both graduate and undergraduate courses and mentor students; and contribute an appropriate degree of service to the Department, College, University, and profession. Qualifications The successful applicant must hold a doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related science or engineering field. The successful applicant must display experience in administrative leadership roles, such as: Director, Department Chair/Head, etc. The successful applicant must display experience in advanced administrative roles relating directly to Artificial Intelligence (e.g. Chief AI Officer).
