  • Mohave County is responsible for delivering prevention education, intervention, and community outreach services that support notMYkid 's mission of empowering youth, strengthening families, and building healthier communities throughout Mohave County.
The position serves as a field-based representative and builds relationships with families, schools, juvenile courts, community organizations, and youth-serving agencies and organizations. This is currently a part-time position

  • Behavioral Health Collaboration & Clinical Oversight Prevention Education, Intervention & Community Programming
  • 70% Deliver prevention, intervention, and support services to youth and families throughout Mohave County, including: One-time educational and prevention presentations.
Multi-day curriculum presentation delivery, maintaining continuity across sessions and fidelity to approved curriculum. Small-group facilitation and peer-support programming, including approved programming for court-referred or court-ordered youth. Community education, outreach events, resource fairs, and other approved engagement activities. Deliver engaging, age-appropriate prevention curriculum to elementary, middle, and high school students in classrooms, assemblies, workshops, and community settings. Create safe, respectful, and engaging environments that encourage participation and positive decision-making. Adapt facilitation techniques to the age, developmental level, and needs of the audience while maintaining curriculum standards. Monitor group dynamics and follow established procedures for behavioral health, safety, mandated-reporting, or other concerns. Build positive relationships with youth, families, educators, probation staff, counselors, school administrators, and community organizations. Connect youth and families with appropriate notMYkid behavioral health or community resources when needs are identified. Collect and maintain attendance, participation, demographic, evaluation, outcome, grant, and court-related documentation as required. Represent notMYkid professionally in schools, courts, coalitions, community organizations, and partner settings. Community Outreach, Program Coordination & Scheduling
  • 20% Coordinate and schedule prevention education and related services with schools, community partners, youth-serving organizations, juvenile courts.
Maintain an organized calendar of presentations, multi-day curricula, groups, and community activities. Conduct proactive outreach to develop new schools, organizations, and community partners and generate new presentation opportunities. Follow up with existing partners to schedule future programming and strengthen long-term relationships. Coordinate presentation dates, locations, audiences, curriculum needs, materials, and other logistics. Maintain accurate scheduling, documentation, communication, and follow-up related to services. Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and other organizational systems. Support grant documentation and reporting requirements related to assigned programs and services. Travel throughout Mohave County to deliver programming and build relationships with community partners. Balance direct service delivery, travel, scheduling, outreach, and administrative responsibilities independently. Administrative Collaboration & Clinical Oversight
  • 10% Participate in biweekly clinical oversight meetings, consultation, and supervision.
Collaborate with licensed behavioral health professionals regarding participant concerns, referrals, and appropriate interventions. Participate in case consultation or program planning related to youth who may need additional behavioral health support. Support trauma-informed practices and behavioral health awareness within prevention programming. Maintain appropriate confidentiality, professional boundaries, and documentation related to referrals and consultations. Perform all duties within the established scope of the position and under required clinical or organizational supervision when applicable. Key Performance Indicators / Measures of Success Prevention Education Delivery Meets monthly/quarterly presentation and youth-reach goals; delivers approved curriculum with fidelity; completes presentation documentation within established timelines; maintains strong partner/participant feedback. Community Reach & Partnerships Expands notMYkid's presence across Mohave County by developing relationships with new schools, courts, youth-serving agencies, municipalities, and community partners. Scheduling & Opportunity Development Maintains a forward-looking presentation calendar, generates new presentation opportunities, follows up with partners promptly, and keeps Salesforce records current and complete. Small-Group / Multi-Day Programming Completes multi-session curricula as scheduled, maintains continuity and participant engagement, and documents attendance, outcomes, and completion requirements accurately. Behavioral Health Collaboration Participates in required clinical oversight and supervision, follows referral/escalation protocols, and maintains confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries. Compliance & Documentation Completes required records, grant documentation, incident reporting, and organizational documentation accurately and within established deadlines. The position may encounter youth or families with behavioral health concerns and must follow established escalation, referral, mandated-reporting, and emergency procedures. The position does not independently provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment unless separately qualified and authorized. Required Knowledge & Skills Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Public speaking, group facilitation, and youth engagement skills. Ability to deliver structured curricula over multiple sessions while maintaining curriculum fidelity. Ability to connect naturally and professionally with both youth and adults. Understanding of working with justice-involved or court-referred youth and maintaining appropriate boundaries. Knowledge of mandated reporting, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and referral/escalation procedures. Accurate scheduling, documentation, communication, and follow-up related to services. Ability to build trusting relationships with schools, families, courts, youth-serving organizations, and community partners. Ability to balance direct service delivery, travel, scheduling, outreach, and administrative responsibilities independently. Comfort using Salesforce CRM and Microsoft 365 platforms, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Strong organization, time management, follow-through, adaptability, and sound judgment. Ideal Candidate Resident of Mohave County and actively engaged in the community. Is energetic, engaging, and comfortable working in environments that require a high level of interaction. Bilingual Is a self-starter who can work independently and take initiative. Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once. Is comfortable traveling from community to community throughout Mohave County. Can effectively balance scheduling and coordination responsibilities with hands-on programming needs. Builds strong, trusting relationships with youth, families, schools, and community partners. Is adaptable and able to shift between different settings, populations, and responsibilities. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Education, Behavioral Health, Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, Communications, Community Development, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Candidates actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field may also be considered. Minimum Experience Experience presenting, facilitating, teaching, training, or speaking to groups. Experience working with youth, schools, community organizations, court-referred populations, or youth-serving programs preferred. Experience in prevention education, community outreach, education, nonprofit services, behavioral health, or relationship development preferred. Experience independently scheduling appointments and developing community relationships strongly preferred. Experience using Salesforce CRM to maintain school and community partner records, document outreach and follow-up activities, track presentation opportunities, manage scheduling, and support grant reporting and organizational performance metrics. Licensure & Certifications Ability to obtain and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation. Peer Support Certification to be completed upon hire if required by the assigned program, grant, or service model. CPR / First Aid certification if required based on assigned duties. Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) Certification, provided upon hire by notMYkid. Physical Requirements Travel throughout Mohave County and between schools, courts, community locations, and partner sites. Ability to stand and present for extended periods. Operate a computer and standard office equipment. Ability to transport presentation materials and equipment as required. Communicate effectively in person, by phone, virtually, and electronically. Working Conditions Frequent field-based work throughout Mohave County.

Significant public speaking and interaction with youth and adults. Attendance at community events and meetings. Some early morning, evening, or occasional weekend work may be required based on school and community schedules.
