Injury Prevention Specialist for ergonomics, injury prevent, hands on first aid & body education

Job Description

We are hiring for part-time/full-time. Injury Prevention Specialist are needed for our ergonomics, injury prevention, hands on first aid and education and training services for one of our clients in the Ontario, CA, area. Clinician will be responsible for providing early intervention, ergonomics, education, and training using our established injury prevention program.
Essential Functions :
Educate and observe essential functions and movement patterns that could lead to overuse and other musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Encourage employee on early detection of aches and follow-up with employees to ensure early symptom recognition and injury prevention. Perform injury/musculoskeletal screening and assessment, covering such areas as history, observation, palpation, range of motion, and muscle strength. Communication with clients Environmental Health & Safety team and or managers regarding the daily interactions and concerns for workers health. Provide recommended guidelines for correcting limitations in flexibility, stability, and general conditioning to prevent injury and support overall wellness for clients. Provide ergonomic workstation assessments and job coaching based on knowledge in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and ergonomic principles. Follow-up on all assessments, observations and coaching's. Assist with development of programs and be able to lead group and individual training sessions focusing on functional movements, specific job functions, and educational presentations. Attend client meetings in person or virtual as well as ActionOnsite team meeting calls. Provide basic first aid in alignment with OSHA first aid standards to assist in prevention of recordable incidences for clients. Complete documentation on daily interactions for early interventions, workstations assessment, job coaching and floor observations. Documentation should be completed within 24hrs of your onsite visit.
Job Requirements Education:
CEAS II or CEAS II certification Current certification Basic Life Support CPR for health care providers is required. Experience in orthopedics. Preferably two years. Professional liability insurance

$35.00 - $38.00 per hour
