Job Description

Instructional Designer II#26-22212 North Chicago, IL Hybrid Job Description Top 3 - 5 Skills Needed for each role 1. Ability to create learning resources efficiently (eLearning modules, guides, slide decks, etc.) 2. Strong written communication skills 3. Project management skills - ability to track and bring to completion multiple simultaneous projects 4. Knowledge and experience of Articulate 360 or similar eLearning authoring software
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Design learning solutions that close knowledge and skill gaps and that improve individual and organizational performance. Build training resources in support of process and system changes and skill development workshops. Design and develop eLearning courses, video resources, slide decks, participant guides, learning activities, and other similar learning resources. Partner with subject matter experts to build training materials and update existing eLearning. Lead instructional design projects with stakeholders to completion. Maintain our eLearning library, updating courses as needed in our learning management system. Support the facilitation of live courses.
Education:
BA/BS required.
Experience:
3-5 years of training/instructional design or related experience. Experience with Articulate 360, Synthesia, or similar learning design software required.
Key Competencies Required:
Knowledge of learning design principles, strong communication skills, excellent project management capabilities, and strong team orientation.
