Position:

Special Education Behavior Specialist (variety of classroom settings as needed)

Location:

BCSC Campus Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
RBT certification preferred
Some experience with behavior modification preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide additional behavioral support to students PK-12 with behavioral needs across the corporation under the direction of the Special Education Behaviorist
Provide support to students with various disabilities including emotional disabilities, autism, and cognitive disabilities
Take direction and be receptive to ongoing coaching, training, and guidance from the Special Education Behaviorist
Assist in modeling de-escalation strategies, data collection and instructional strategies for staff
Assist in providing support to newly hired aides for self-contained programs

Hours & Salary:

7.5 hours / day (Position will require flexible schedule to accommodate different start/end times of buildings across the corporation)
