Job Description

Join Our Team as an Intervention Support Specialist! Are you passionate about helping young learners succeed in reading and math? Do you thrive in a collaborative, supportive school environment? Lebanon School District is seeking a dedicated Intervention Support Specialist to join our team. This is your chance to make a real difference in students' lives, working alongside teachers, literacy coaches, and principals to help all children reach their full potential.
What You'll Do:
Partner with classroom teachers to develop and deliver strategies that help students master essential literacy and math skills Work directly with individual students or small groups, providing targeted support and encouragement Use innovative instructional strategies and learning technologies to boost student growth Track student progress and keep performance data organized and confidential Collaborate regularly with staff, building coaches, and administrators to discuss student needs and share effective strategies Become an expert in intervention software and tools that promote learning Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for every student
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree (required) Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification (preferred) Strong communication skills—both written and verbal Experience with classroom management and instructional strategies Excellent organizational skills and a collaborative spirit Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
Position Details:
Temporary, part-time role dependent on grant funding for 4 hours per day for 164 days for the 2026-2027 school year.
Salary:
$37/hr. for those that hold a PA teaching certificate; $35/hr. for all others with a bachelor's degree.
