Full Job Description Position Purpose:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to review, coordinate, and maintain educational curriculum and materials used within Joseph's Project, and to diligently research new education resources for use in the center—working hand in hand with grantors, including the Texas Pregnancy Care Network (TPCN), to ensure all materials are approved and in compliance prior to use.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review all client and parent-education curriculum and materials currently in use to ensure accuracy, relevance, and continued compliance with program standards. Maintain an organized, up-to-date inventory of all approved education materials and curriculum used across program sites. Diligently research and identify new educational curriculum, materials, and resources appropriate for use with clients in the center. Evaluate prospective education materials for content quality, cultural sensitivity, and alignment with the agency's mission and values. Work hand in hand with grantors, including the Texas Pregnancy Care Network (TPCN), to submit new curriculum and materials for review and obtain required approval prior to use. Ensure all education materials meet grantor/funder guidelines, contractual obligations, and reporting requirements. Track approval status, renewal dates, and required updates for all curriculum and materials, and retire outdated content promptly. Coordinate with case workers and program staff to introduce new or updated materials and provide training on their use. Maintain accurate records and documentation of material reviews, approvals, and grantor correspondence. Stay current on best practices and available resources related to pregnancy, prenatal care, fetal development, parenting, adoption, abortion risks and procedures, risks and complications of other birth control methods, abstinence, sexually transmitted diseases, and community resources. Assist in developing supplemental curriculum and lesson plans as needed to fill gaps in current program offerings. Collaborate with program staff, providing activity updates and receiving constructive feedback. Attend mandatory agency meetings and training sessions. Support and participate in major fundraising projects and programs. Uphold strict confidentiality in line with contractual obligations and agency policies. Communicate effectively with program staff, healthcare and auxiliary personnel, and grantor representatives. Maintain current Texas Pregnancy Care Network training. Participate in chart reviews, special committees, and other quality assurance activities as needed. Keep client services areas clean and organized. Each staff member will be responsible for individual and team cleaning duties. Report unsafe conditions in a timely manner. Follow Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle's policies and procedures. Other duties delegated by his/her supervisor.

Qualifications:

Proficient in English, encompassing speaking, reading, and writing skills. Demonstrates a sincere desire to serve individuals and families experiencing pregnancy-related challenges, including those who may be considering abortion, through accurate, current, and evidence-based education consistent with the organization's mission and program requirements. High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in education, social services, or a related field preferred but not required. Demonstrate understanding of Joseph's Project processes and program goals. Strong research skills, with the ability to locate, evaluate, and vet educational curriculum and materials. Experience working with grantors, funders, or in grant/contract compliance preferred but not required. Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Exceptional organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in written communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. Display a proactive and positive work attitude. Exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit professionalism consistently. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Exhibits fairness, honesty, and open communication with colleagues. Effective time management and organizational abilities. Ability to travel for program training and between multiple programmatic locations. Must be available to work some evenings and weekends for activities, outings, field trips and/or agency events, as needed.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
