Head Start Education Coordinator Primary Purpose:
Provide leadership in development, implementation and coordination of an education program for early childhood services.
Assist the program director in overall administration of the instructional program and campus level operations.
Special Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to implement Practice Based Coaching techniques
Ability to organize, direct, coordinate and evaluate Head Start curriculum
Ability to interpret policies and procedures
Ability to manage a budget
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
Early Childhood Certification required
Master's degree preferred
CLASS Appraiser Certification required or obtain upon hire
Experience:
Five years classroom teaching experience required
Early Childhood classroom teaching experience required
