Dance Instructor for Southwest Ballet Theatre SWBT is seeking a ballet instructor to complete our teaching staff. We have two studio locations but both are in Avondale.

Class schedule is as follows:

Tuesdays from 4:45 to 8:00, three classes for dancers ages 3 to 15, at Estrella Mountain Community College studio. Wednesdays from 4:45 to 6:30 PM, 2 classes for dancers ages 5 to 9, at Old Town Avondale studio. Beginning in January, 2027, there is an opportunity to teach an additional class for older dancers until 8:00 PM. SWBT will also consider candidates who can only teach the Wednesday classes. Classes begin the week of August 10th. There is a Showcase for all classes on May 15, 2027.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

Must have professional dance experience, be certified in a dance-specific curriculum, and/or have university training Minimum of two years of teaching experience

Part-time employee with annual contract

Pay:

$30-$45 per hour, depending on experience Southwest Ballet Theatre ("SWBT") is a nonprofit, classical ballet company located in the West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona.
