Schedule Kids Fitness & Movement Instructor Creative Kids Movement Network | South Denver Area Part Time | Weekday Daytime Hours Creative Kids Movement Network is hiring an energetic and reliable Kids Movement Instructor to teach fun enrichment classes at preschools and elementary schools throughout the South Denver area. Our programs help children build confidence, coordination, strength, and a love of movement through engaging activities including fitness games, dance, and yoga. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants a flexible schedule during school hours. Job Responsibilities Lead fun, structured enrichment classes for children ages 2 to 10 Teach movement based programs including Mini Movers, Dance, and Kids Yoga Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment Communicate professionally with school staff and directors Set up and clean up provided class equipment Track attendance and provide brief class updates when needed Safely manage groups of 8 to 15 children Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred Background in fitness, dance, yoga, athletics, education, or childcare is a plus High energy, engaging personality Strong reliability and punctuality Ability to follow curriculum and adapt lesson plans to lead a group of children in active play and movement Must be 18+ with High School Diploma or equivalent Must have valid Driver License Must have reliable transportation Must be willing to complete background check as defined by state laws Must be willing to complete CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within 30 days of employment if you are not already certified Ability to lead physical activity classes confidently Preferred but not required Teaching experience Group fitness, dance instruction, personal training, or yoga certification Early childhood education experience Schedule Weekday daytime hours Most classes occur between 9 AM and 4:30 PM Each class is 30 to 45 minutes Flexible scheduling depending on school locations Pay is $20 to $60 per class depending on experience and assistant/lead status Paid training provided Opportunities to add more classes as programs grow Locations Schools located throughout South Denver including: Highlands Ranch Centennial Lone Tree Greenwood Village Littleton Castle Rock Parker About Creative Kids Movement Network Denver South Creative Kids Movement Network provides on site enrichment programs for schools serving children ages 2 to 10. 00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you currently certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED for adults and children? If hired, are you willing to complete CPR, First Aid, and AED certification within 30 days of employment if you are not already certified? Our enrichment classes run in sessions that last several weeks, months, or the academic year and consistency is important for the children and schools we serve. Classes closely follow county academic schedules for scheduled breaks. Are you able to commit to teaching a class for the full session once assigned? How much experience do you have working with children ages 2 to 10 years old? This role involves leading energetic movement based classes including fitness games, dance, and basic yoga. Teaching young children requires patience, positive leadership, and the ability to keep kids engaged. How confident are you managing a group of preschool or early elementary children in an active class setting? Most classes take place between 9 AM and 4:30 PM on weekdays. Are you available to work during these hours? Do you understand this is a part-time only position and hours will vary month to month, season to season? Because we work with children in schools, instructors must pass a criminal background check. Are you willing to complete a background check if hired? This role requires demonstrating movement activities such as running, jumping, balancing, and stretching. Are you able to actively participate in and demonstrate physical activities during class? Schools rely on instructors to arrive on time and consistently each week for their scheduled classes. How would you describe your reliability when it comes to scheduled commitments? Do you anticipate any major schedule changes in the next 6 months that could affect your availability? Do you have reliable transportation to travel between school locations in South Denver?
