https://www.urbanimpactct.org/ Position Summary Urban Impact is seeking a passionate and creative Arts Facilitator with experience in Biblical or Faith-based music, dance, drama or a combination of the three. This is a part-time contract position responsible for planning and leading an arts enrichment program, meeting one day to two days per week (two sessions
  • per day).
The Arts Facilitator will design engaging sessions that introduce youth to artistic expression, build confidence, foster teamwork and support character development rooted in Christian values. Facilitators will work alongside program leadership and Christian mentors to cultivate a safe, uplifting space where creativity and faith come together. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver weekly arts-based lessons (music, dance, drama, or blended arts) for youth ages 7-16. Create a supportive environment that encourages self-expression, creativity, discipline and collaboration. Incorporate faith-based principles that reinforce identity, purpose and character development through the arts. Partner with program staff and Christian mentors to provide consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. Prepare youth for a culminating presentation, showcase or project for organization celebrations and community events. (if applicable). Provide weekly progress attendance, updates and a final impact report measuring student engagement, growth and program outcomes. Maintain safe classroom practices and model strong leadership, professionalism and Christlike character. Communicate supply needs, space requirements and schedule updates to the Senior Leadership. Requirements Experience teaching or facilitating music, dance, drama or related art forms with youth. Ability to develop age-appropriate lesson plans and lead engaging sessions. Strong communication and leadership skills with a positive, encouraging teaching style. Commitment to Urban Impact's Christian mission and ability to integrate faith-based principles into programming. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers and mentors. Experience working in community, youth, or faith-based settings is preferred.

Must meet all Urban Impact CT hiring requirements, including reference checks and any necessary clearances.
