Hip Hop Instructor (Intermediate/Advanced) Turning Pointe School of Dance Braselton, GA Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 4 days ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Classroom management Curriculum development Experience working with children Dancing Teaching Full Job Description Turning Pointe School of Dance is looking for an experienced Hip Hop instructor to teach our intermediate and advanced level classes for the 2026-2027 season! We're a close-knit studio where our staff truly feels like a big family, all working together to create amazing performances for our dancers.
Schedule:
Thursday evenings, 5:00pm-7:15pm (3 classes back-to-back, ages 9-18) Season runs August 2026 through May 2027 Potential to continue into Summer 2027 and future seasons, depending on fit and how the season goes What you'll do: Teach 3 intermediate/advanced hip hop classes spanning ages 9-18, building choreography that challenges and grows our dancers' technique and performance quality at each level Create a positive, high-energy classroom environment that keeps dancers engaged and having fun Choreograph and rehearse recital pieces Communicate professionally with parents, students, and studio staff Attend required studio events: 1 teacher training, 1 open house, 2 annual recitals and dress rehearsals, and 1-3 staff meetings throughout the season What we're looking for: Strong hip hop technique and choreography skills, with experience teaching intermediate to advanced level dancers across a range of ages Prior teaching experience preferred (studio, competition team, or professional background) Reliable, punctual, and professional A genuine team player who wants to be part of our studio family, not just teach a class and leave Passion for working with kids/teens and helping them grow as dancers and people Ability to commit to the full season (August-May)
Details:
Part-time, Thursday evening position with potential for additional classes/hours added if enrollment grows and we need to expand our offerings Pay based on experience To apply: Please submit both a dance resume and a standard business resume.
