Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Interact appropriately and professionally with students, parents, and co-workers.

Support student engagement and participation in the program.

Prepare, serve, and clean up breakfast.

Supervise and engage students during classroom and group activities.

Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.

Communicate observations, concerns, and relevant student information to the Head Teacher and/or Director.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Teacher or Director.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and perform activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and running.

The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move heavy objects.

The position requires the ability to work effectively in an active environment with frequent distractions and interruptions, including phone calls, parent interactions, walkie-talkie communication, and elevated noise levels.

The employee must be able to respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations.

The employee may be required to work outdoors in weather conditions that are considered safe and appropriate for students.

Requirements:

One year or more of college-level experience in education or a related field (psychology, sociology, etc.) with supporting experience (summer camp counselor, Girl Scout/Boy Scout leader, etc.).

CPR/AED/First Aid training or the ability to be trained

Valid Drivers License Schedule:

Thursday and Friday scheduling available

Start time: 7:00 AM

End time: start of school
