Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Chevy Chase is looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our team as Dance Instructors. For more than 100 years, Arthur Murray has helped people around the world discover the joy and confidence that comes from dancing. Today, our studios continue that tradition by creating welcoming, inspiring experiences through ballroom and social dance. No professional dance or teaching experience is required. We provide comprehensive, paid training designed to teach you the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to become a successful dance instructor. Teach private dance lessons to students of all ages and experience levels. Learn and teach a variety of ballroom and social dance styles, including Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Salsa, Bachata, and more. Create a fun, welcoming, and encouraging environment for students. Build genuine relationships with students and help them achieve their personal goals. Participate in studio events, showcases, social dance parties, and competitions. Continue developing your own dancing, teaching, communication, and professional skills. Work as part of a supportive, energetic team committed to delivering an exceptional student experience. We are looking for people who are: Outgoing, energetic, and personable. Confident, positive, and comfortable in front of others. Motivated by personal and professional growth. Reliable, responsible, and committed to their students and team. Able to maintain a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Comfortable with a physically active job that involves standing, moving, and dancing for extended periods. Able to work in person at our Chevy Chase studio. Dance experience is a plus, but it is not required. We care more about your personality, work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to connect with people. Our training program will teach you the dance and teaching skills you need to succeed.
