AM Wage:
$20/hr. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
Primary Objective of Position:
To develop and implement a hands-on coaching curriculum for youth runners Grades 2•5. Based on the age of the students, instruction should include proper form and efficiency, distance training, speed training, proper warm-up, cool-down and stretching, proper training gear, nutrition and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead instruction in school run programs; provide guidance and supervision of participants. Develop and implement fun and appropriate practice drills and games to accommodate a variety of skill levels. Help each participant develop skills to be successful. Provide a safe, caring and fun environment for participants. Establish a positive and friendly relationship with parents. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Qualifications:
Must be a high school graduate, at least 18 years of age. Evidence of successful experience in working with youth. Evidence of successful teaching and/or program leadership. Demonstrated knowledge of basic running skills and mechanics; coaching/instruction experience preferred. Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Proven record of punctuality and responsibility. Email To A Friend Print Version
