Do you want a fun, engaging part-time job on a supportive, collaborative team? If so, this may be the perfect role for you! As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and progressive gymnastics experience for participants of all skill levels—from beginner classes for our youngest early childhood learners to school-age youth focused on fine-tuning their skills. On a typical day, you will: Monitor open gymnastics sessions to ensure safety and fun. Assist with curriculum-based classes that engage and inspire participants. Set up and take down equipment to maintain a well-organized environment. Build meaningful relationships to enhance participant and member satisfaction. Motivate and inspire youth to learn new skills through thoughtful demonstrations and hands-on guidance. To thrive in this position, you should bring experience working with youth in an instructional setting or personal expertise in gymnastics, dance, or cheer that fuels your enthusiasm for the sport. You should also be able to physically demonstrate skills appropriate for the levels you teach and communicate effectively through positive guidance and encouragement. Why Work for the Y? Qualifications Must be a minimum of 16 years of age Must be able to commit to set hours in a 12 week session Must have or be willing to get current certifications in Safe Sport, USAG Safety Certification, CPR, and First Aid Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and certifications.
Schedule:
9am to 12pm Monday - Friday 8am to 12pm on Saturdays
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
